Biography
Ray Yamagata is a production designer and art director. He has worked extensively in television, with credits including production design on the series Californication (2012–2014).
His other television work includes production design on House of Lies (2014–2016), Ray Donovan (2015–2020, including the 2022 film), White Famous (2017), American Gigolo (2022), The Brothers Sun (2024) and Ballard (2025). Earlier credits include art direction on Cold Case (2006–2010) and Undercovers (2010–2012), and art department roles on films such as Spartan (2004) and The Black Dahlia (2006).
Yamagata won a Primetime Emmy Award.
