Biography

Raymond Borderie (30 March 1897 – 12 July 1982) was a French film producer. He was born and died in Paris.

He began working in the film industry in 1923 and founded production companies including the Compagnie des Grands Artistes Internationaux and the Compagnie industrielle et commerciale cinématographique (CICC). Borderie produced more than 30 films between 1934 and 1968, including Les Misérables (1934), Children of Paradise (1945), The Wages of Fear (1953), The Witches of Salem (1957) and Le Samouraï (1967). He was the father of director Bernard Borderie.
