Biography
Raymond Jones is a British television composer. He is known for his incidental music on the BBC science fiction series Doctor Who (1963), for which he composed and conducted scores for the serials The Romans (1965) and The Savages (1966) during William Hartnell's time as the First Doctor.
Jones worked on other BBC productions in the 1960s, including episodes of R3 (1964–1965), Thursday Theatre, Story Parade and Theatre 625. He later composed signature music and scores for Wodehouse Playhouse (1975–1978).
