Biography
Rebecca Johnson is a British writer and director. After graduating with a Fine Art degree, she worked in community filmmaking with young people in Brixton for over a decade, producing short films including the multi-award-winning Top Girl (2009).
She has directed episodes of several television series, including Call the Midwife (2018), The Magicians (2017–2018), Supergirl (2017), The Flash (2019), The Rook (2019) and Motherland: Fort Salem (2020). Her feature film Honeytrap (2014) was released to positive reviews. Johnson was named a Screen International Star of Tomorrow in 2009 and selected for BAFTA's Elevate Programme in 2017.
