Biography
Reiko Yoshida is a Japanese screenwriter. She has written numerous screenplays for anime series and films since her debut in 1993. Her credits include The Cat Returns (2002), A Silent Voice: The Movie (2016), Ride Your Wave (2019), Violet Evergarden: The Movie (2020) and The Colors Within (2024).
Yoshida has also contributed series composition and scripts to television anime such as K-On! , Girls und Panzer , Violet Evergarden (2018) and Blue Period (2024). She wrote the story for the manga Tokyo Mew Mew . She graduated in literature from Hosei University and has received Best Screenplay/Original Work awards at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival.
