Biography
Renato Romano is an Italian actor and screenwriter. Born on 20 February 1940 in Ischia, he began his career in the 1960s after an earlier spell as a professional footballer.
He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and appeared in numerous Italian and international films, often in supporting roles. Notable credits include The Italian Job (1969), The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (1970), The Mattei Affair (1972) and Seven Blood-Stained Orchids (1972). He has also worked as a producer and assistant director, and later moved to Beverly Hills.
