Biography
Rene Ohashi is a Canadian cinematographer based in Toronto. He has worked on numerous film and television productions since the 1980s.
His credits include Anne of Green Gables (1985), Millennium (1989), Party of Five (1994), They (2002), Highwaymen (2004), Stone Cold (2005), Faces in the Crowd (2011), Sneaky Pete (2015) and Forsaken (2015). He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and the Canadian Society of Cinematographers.
Ohashi has received multiple awards and nominations, including wins from the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, Gemini Awards and Genie Awards for his work in both television and feature films.
