Biography
Rex Edwards was a British television writer and script associate. Born in London in 1912, he worked extensively in British television from the 1950s to the 1970s.
He is credited as writer on one episode of the series The Avengers (1963). Edwards served for many years as script associate on Dixon of Dock Green (1957–1962), contributing additional dialogue and scripts, and later wrote episodes for Z Cars (1969–1971), Six Days of Justice (1972–1973) and other series. He also wrote all seven episodes of the 1956 mini-series Big City and several short films.
