Biography
Rex Wei (1933–2006) was a British actor. He appeared in guest roles in numerous British television series from the 1970s to the 1990s, often portraying characters of East Asian descent. His credits include Mr Chin in the 1982 episode "The Yellow Peril" of Only Fools and Horses, Embassy Man and Kidnapper in The Professionals (1980–1982), Nguyen in Silent Witness (1996), and Michael Leung in The Knock (1997).
Wei also appeared in the film Ping Pong (1986) as A Chee. Born Rex Williams Wei on 27 March 1933, he died on 9 November 2006 in Daventry, Northamptonshire, England.
