Biography
Rich Peppiatt is an English-born Irish writer and director. After working as a journalist, he directed the 2014 documentary One Rogue Reporter and episodes of television series including Supershoppers, as well as several short films.
Peppiatt wrote and directed the 2024 feature film Kneecap, a biographical comedy-drama about the Belfast hip-hop trio of the same name, which stars the band members as themselves alongside Michael Fassbender. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won the NEXT Audience Award, and was released in 2024.
