Biography

Richard Blackburn is an American actor, writer and director. He co-wrote the screenplay for the 1982 black comedy film Eating Raoul with Paul Bartel, and also appeared in the film as James from the Valley. He served as associate producer on the project.

Blackburn wrote and directed the 1973 horror film Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural, in which he also acted. He wrote and directed the episode "Miss May Dusa" for the 1987 horror anthology series Tales from the Darkside.
