Biography
Richard Dale is a British director and producer. He began his career at the BBC and directed the first three episodes of the Channel 4 series Teachers (2001).
Dale is known for factual dramas and documentaries such as D-Day 6.6.1944 (2004), Inside the Twin Towers (2006), Moonshot (2009) and Earth: One Amazing Day (2017). He wrote the screenplay for the IMAX film Walking with Dinosaurs (2013). In 2005 he founded Dangerous Films Ltd, which was sold to Zodiak in 2009. He has received BAFTA and Emmy nominations.
