Biography
Richard Davidson is a writer for television and theatre. His screenwriting credits include numerous episodes of EastEnders (2004–2026), for which he was a core writer between 2004 and 2010. He has also written for Silent Witness (2010–2017), New Tricks (2014), Holby Blue (2007), Ackley Bridge (2018–2019) and two episodes of Shetland (2014).
Davidson began as an award-winning playwright. His stage works include Storybook (1993), which won a Fringe First award, as well as Dreadnought (Bush Theatre), Badnuff (Soho Theatre, 2004) and others performed at Paines Plough and Battersea Arts Centre.
