Biography
Richard Pinto is a British comedy writer. He contributed episodes to the Channel 4 series Fresh Meat (2011) in its first two series.
He created The Kumars at No. 42 (2001) with Sanjeev Bhaskar and Sharat Sardana, and co-created Citizen Khan (2012) with Anil Gupta and Adil Ray. Other television writing credits include The Armstrong and Miller Show (2007), Mutual Friends (2008), Boomers (2014) and Small Potatoes (1999). He has also co-created and written radio series including Elvenquest with Anil Gupta and served as lead writer on Goodness Gracious Me.
Pinto has received two BAFTA nominations.
