Biography
Richard Stokes is a British television producer and executive producer. He began his career as a script editor on EastEnders in the late 1990s and early 2000s, later serving as series producer and executive producer on Holby City until 2006.
He produced the first two series of Torchwood (2006–2008) and worked as producer and occasional writer on Law & Order: UK (2009–2014). Stokes produced Silk (2012) and the first two series of Broadchurch (2013–2015).
His later credits include producing the BBC miniseries Undercover (2016) and executive producing Silent Witness (2018–2020) and The Watch (2021). He has received BAFTA nominations for his work in drama.
