Biography
Richard Wilcox was a production designer and art director who worked in film and television. Also credited as Richard Kent Wilcox, he was born on 20 February 1933 in San Luis Obispo, California, and died on 15 November 2011 in West Vancouver, British Columbia.
He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Yale University. Wilcox began his career in theatre design, working in Chicago and New Orleans before moving to Vancouver, where he taught theatre design at the University of British Columbia. He later worked as a production designer on numerous film and television projects.
His credits include production design on The Accused (1988), Watchers (1988), Omen IV: The Awakening (1991), A Killer Among Friends (1992) and the pilot episode of Party of Five (1994), as well as art direction on Look Who's Talking Too (1990).
