Biography
Richie Kern is a producer and media rights agent. He served as producer on the Hulu miniseries Dopesick (2021) and as executive producer on the Lifetime television film Escaping the NXIVM Cult: A Mother's Fight to Save Her Daughter (2019).
Kern previously worked in literary agencies and publishing. He was Head of Filmed Entertainment at Foundry Literary + Media for seven years, overseeing book-to-screen adaptations that included Dopesick. He had earlier roles as a senior editor at Thomas Dunne Books and as an agent at WME and ICM, specialising in book-to-film and television rights.
In 2022, Kern joined Paradigm Talent Agency as a media rights agent based in Los Angeles.
