Biography
Rick Fichter is a cinematographer and visual effects technician. He has worked on numerous feature films, often contributing to visual effects units or serving as director of photography on smaller productions.
His credits include director of photography for the USFX unit on Top Gun (1986), additional photography or effects work on The Running Man (1987) and RoboCop (1987), and full cinematography on Society (1989) and Bride of Re-Animator (1990). He has also served as visual effects director of photography on Starship Troopers (1997) and held roles at studios including ILM and Boss Film Studios. Fichter received a Saturn Award nomination for best special effects on Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989).
