Biography
Rick Yune is an American actor of Korean descent. He was born Richard Yun on 22 August 1971 in Washington, D.C. He graduated with a degree in finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 1994 and began acting in the late 1990s.
Yune made his film debut as Kazuo Miyamoto in Snow Falling on Cedars (1999). His notable roles include Johnny Tran in The Fast and the Furious (2001), Zao in Die Another Day (2002), Kang in Olympus Has Fallen (2013), Master Clive Lee in Alita: Battle Angel (2019) and the Bank Manager in Tetris (2023). He has also appeared in television series such as Marco Polo (2014–2016) as Kaidu and Hawaii Five-0 (2013). He is the older brother of actor Karl Yune and has a background in martial arts, including a black belt in Taekwondo.
