Biography
Rie Rasmussen is a Danish actress, director, writer and photographer. She was discovered by a modelling scout at the age of fifteen while on holiday in New York and later attended film school in California as a writer-director.
Her breakthrough acting role was as Veronica in Brian De Palma's Femme Fatale (2002), after being recommended by Rebecca Romijn. She went on to star as the title character in Luc Besson's Angel-A (2005). Rasmussen has also written and directed short films, including Thinning the Herd (2004), which screened in competition at the Cannes Film Festival.
