Biography
Rino Mondellini was an Italian production designer and art director who worked primarily in the French film industry. He was born on 2 September 1908 in Milan, Lombardy, Italy, and died in 1974 in France.
His film career began with an assistant production designer credit on Rendezvous in July (1949). He went on to work as production designer or art director on numerous features, including Trapeze (1956), Elevator to the Gallows (1958), Le Trou (1960), Fanny (1961), My Wife's Husband (1963), The Sleeping Car Murders (1965) and Perched on a Tree (1971). He also contributed to television series in the early 1970s.
