Biography
Ro Hume is an Australian television writer. Her credits include episodes of A Country Practice (1982–1983), G.P. (1991–1993), All Saints (1998–2000) and Casualty (2005). She wrote two episodes of the science-fiction series Farscape (1999) and served as executive consultant on the first season.
Hume co-created Law of the Land (1993) and co-authored the mini-series Heartland (1994) with Cate Blanchett. She created and script-produced the children's series Ocean Star (2003). Other credits include McLeod's Daughters (1996), Something in the Air (2000) and Time and Tide (1999). She later moved to the United States and became a naturalised citizen in 2019.
