Biography
Rob Edwards is an American screenwriter and producer. He began his career writing for television series including Full House (1987) and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990).
Edwards wrote the screenplays for the Disney animated features Treasure Planet (2002) and The Princess and the Frog (2009). Both films were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. In 2009, along with Ron Clements and John Musker, he received the Best Screenplay award from the African-American Film Critics Association for The Princess and the Frog.
He received story and screenplay credits on Captain America: Brave New World (2025). Edwards attended Cranbrook Schools and Syracuse University.
