Biography
Rob Greenlea is an American television director. He began his career as a child actor in theatre, musicals, commercials and educational television. He studied art, theatre and vocal music at the Cincinnati School for the Creative and Performing Arts, majored in theatre at Webster University's Theater Conservatory and graduated from the New York Center for Media Arts, where he studied film, photography and videography.
Greenlea worked as a corporate photographer and videographer before taking roles as gaffer, key grip and dolly grip on numerous commercials, music videos, feature films and television productions. He wrote, starred in and directed the short film The Cloth (2004), which received an audience appreciation award at the San Diego Comic-Con Film Festival. In 2011 he joined the ABC Disney Creative Talent and Development-DGA Directing Program. His television directing debut came with the Grey's Anatomy episode "The Face of Change" (2013), after which he worked exclusively as a director on series including The Flash, Supergirl, The Resident and Godfather of Harlem.
