Biography
Rob LaZebnik is an American television writer and producer. He graduated from David H. Hickman High School in Columbia, Missouri, and Harvard University. He has worked as a co-executive producer and writer on The Simpsons since 1999, contributing to 25 episodes including "Homer vs. Dignity" (2001), "Father Knows Worst" (2009) and "Bottle Episode" (2024).
LaZebnik co-created the web series Starship Regulars and the series Greetings from Tucson, which aired for one season on The WB. He has also written episodes of Monk, The War at Home, Less Than Perfect, The Ellen Show and Empty Nest. His wife, Claire Scovell LaZebnik, is an author; their son Johnny LaZebnik is a writer who has co-written episodes of The Simpsons with him.
