Biography
Robert B. Hauser (25 March 1919 – 8 July 1994) was an American cinematographer. Born in Spokane, Washington, he worked on more than 70 television and film projects from 1958 until his death in Los Angeles, California.
From 1958 to 1968 he served as director of photography on numerous television series, including episodes of Man with a Camera, The Untouchables, Combat!, Peyton Place, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Mission: Impossible (1966). He later contributed to feature films such as The Odd Couple (1968), A Man Called Horse (1970), Soldier Blue (1970), Le Mans (1971), Willard (1971) and The Frisco Kid (1979).
Hauser received two Primetime Emmy nominations, for Combat! in 1963 and Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry in 1978. He was a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
