Biography
Robert Bruce is a television writer and producer. He wrote episodes of the sitcom The Golden Girls (1985) between 1988 and 1990, and served as executive story consultant, co-producer and producer on the series.
He contributed as a writer to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990), The Wayans Bros. (1995), The Bernie Mac Show (2001) and other series including Pacific Station (1991) and Platypus Man (1995). He also worked as a producer or consulting producer on several of these programmes. Bruce received two Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series as a producer on The Golden Girls.
