Biography
Robert C. Dearberg (also credited as Bob Dearberg) was a British film and television editor. Born on 3 February 1939 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England, he began his career in the mid-1960s as an assistant editor on feature films including One Million Years B.C. (1966) and The Nanny (1965). He later worked in sound and music editing before focusing on picture editing.
Dearberg edited episodes of The Avengers (1969) and The New Avengers (1976–1977), as well as Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (1967–1968). His feature credits include Horror Express (1972), Frightmare (1974), House of the Long Shadows (1983) and Hammer House of Horror (1980). He also contributed to The Professionals (1977) and later series such as Inspector Morse and Urban Gothic. He died on 8 May 2017 in Bristol, England.
