Biography
Robert E. Swanson is a television writer and producer, also credited as Robert Swanson. He began writing for series in the mid-1970s, contributing the episode 'The Trade-Off' to Kojak in 1975 and an episode to Baretta the same year.
Swanson wrote multiple episodes of Starsky and Hutch (1978–1979), as well as episodes of Hart to Hart, Barnaby Jones, Ellery Queen and other crime and mystery series. From 1984 he worked extensively on Murder, She Wrote, writing around 25 episodes and later serving as producer and supervising producer.
