Biography
Robert Engels is an American writer, producer and director. He wrote ten episodes of the television series Twin Peaks (1990–1991) and served as co-producer on the second season. He co-wrote the feature film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) with David Lynch.
Engels has also written for Wiseguy, On the Air, seaQuest DSV, The Adventures of Sinbad and Andromeda, on which he was executive producer and showrunner. He received a Saturn Award nomination for best writing, shared with Lynch, for Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. He is a professor of screenwriting at California State University, Fullerton.
