Biography
Robert Francis (born Robert Charles Francis) was an American actor. He was born on 26 February 1930 in Glendale, California, and died on 31 July 1955 in Burbank, California, aged 25, in the crash of a small aircraft he was piloting.
Francis appeared in four Hollywood films, all with military themes. His screen debut and most prominent role was as Ensign Willis Seward 'Willie' Keith in The Caine Mutiny (1954). His other credits were They Rode West (1954), The Bamboo Prison (1954) and The Long Gray Line (1955).
