Biography

Robert Hutton (born Robert Bruce Winne; 11 June 1920 – 7 August 1994) was an American actor. He was born in Kingston, New York, and grew up in Ulster County. He attended Blair Academy in New Jersey and acted for two seasons at the Woodstock Playhouse in New York before entering films.

Hutton made his film debut in Destination Tokyo (1943). He appeared as Dave Ames in The Racket (1951) and in other films including The Steel Helmet (1951) and Cinderfella (1960). He also worked in television series such as The Saint and The Persuaders!. After leaving Warner Bros., he worked in films, television, and as a writer and director in England before returning to the United States.
