Biography
Robert Kessel is a film producer. He produced Proof (2005) and The Night Listener (2006), and served as co-producer on A Home at the End of the World (2004).
He holds a B.A. in political science and film from Vassar College. Prior to joining Participant in 2013 as Executive Vice President of Narrative Film, he held executive posts at Matt Tolmach Productions, Overture Films, Hart Sharp Entertainment and Miramax Films. In 2025 he joined Jigsaw Productions as executive vice president of scripted content.
At Participant he oversaw production or served as executive producer on films including Green Book (2018), Wonder (2017), Deepwater Horizon (2016), Dark Waters (2019), Stillwater (2021) and White Bird (2023).
