Biography
Robert L. Sinise is an American film and television editor. Born on 17 May 1931, he began his career editing low-budget horror films directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis, including Blood Feast (1963) and Two Thousand Maniacs! (1964).
He later worked extensively in television, serving as editor on series such as Miami Vice (1984), Baywatch (1989) and Dawson's Creek (1998). His feature credits include Of Mice and Men (1992), directed by and starring his son Gary Sinise, as well as Heavyweights (1995). Sinise has received one award and two nominations for his editing work.
