Biography
Robert Lonsdale is an English actor and musician. Born on 2 November 1983 in Marsden, West Yorkshire, he trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, graduating in 2008. He received the Carleton Hobbs Radio Award and joined the BBC Radio Repertory Company.
His stage work includes the role of Luke in Brilliant Adventures at the Royal Court and Live Theatre, Newcastle, Robert E. Lee Prewitt in the West End musical From Here to Eternity, and appearances on Broadway in La Bête alongside Mark Rylance and David Hyde Pierce, as well as at the Royal Court in Plaques and Tangles. On television, he is known for his series regular role as Connor in the E4 series Chewing Gum (2015–2017) and as Tommy in the BBC miniseries The Interceptor (2015). He has also appeared in Killing Eve, Death in Paradise, Vera and Lovesick.
