Biography
Robert Miano (also credited as Robert Matthew Miano) is an American actor born on 25 September 1942 in New York City and raised in the Southeast Bronx. He began his career in music before studying acting with Lee Strasberg and Warren Robertson in New York.
Miano moved to Los Angeles and built a career as a character actor, appearing in numerous feature films and television programmes, frequently in mobster roles. He is known for portraying real-life Bonanno crime family capo Alphonse 'Sonny Red' Indelicato in Donnie Brasco (1997), as well as roles in The Funeral (1996), Fast & Furious (2009) and Little Fockers (2010). On television he played Joe Scully on General Hospital and Frankie Eyes on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
