Biography
Robert Roark is an American actor and producer. He was born on 19 October 1926 in Helen, West Virginia. He served in the South Pacific during the Second World War as a combat paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division.
Roark is known for his role as Insigna in the 1955 film Mister Roberts. His other screen credits include appearances in Killers from Space (1954), Target Earth (1954), The Long Gray Line (1955) and The Girl in Lovers Lane (1960), on which he also worked as producer. He appeared in numerous television series in the 1950s and 1960s, including episodes of Highway Patrol, M Squad, Wagon Train and Lock Up.
