Biography
Robert Tsai is an American actor. He is known for portraying Lawrence, the keyboard player nicknamed 'Mr Cool', in the 2003 film The School of Rock.
Tsai made his screen debut in the film. His real-life insecurity about fitting into the band influenced a scene in the script. He later appeared as a musical guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 2003 and as himself on OCA Image TV in 2012. Tsai attended Dartmouth College, where he performed piano concerts, and was a member of the dance group Instant Noodle Crew.
