Biography
Roberto Nobile (11 November 1947 – 30 July 2022) was an Italian actor. Born in Verona, he was active in film and television from the mid-1980s until his death in Rome.
He appeared in films including Everybody's Fine (1990), Caro diario (1993), La scuola (1995), The Son's Room (2001) as a priest, Under the Tuscan Sun (2003), Quiet Chaos (2008), Nine (2009) and We Have a Pope (2011). On television he played Antonio Parmesan in the long-running series Distretto di Polizia (2000–2008) and Nicolò Zito in Il commissario Montalbano (1999–2019). He also wrote the book Col cuore in moto.
