Biography
Robyn Douglass is an American actress and model. She was born on 21 June 1953 in Sendai, Japan, and grew up in San Francisco. She began acting while at a Catholic girls' school in Mountain View, California, and trained at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco before studying in Chicago.
Douglass's film roles include Katherine in Breaking Away (1979), Danielle in The Lonely Guy (1984) and Kate Mallory in Romantic Comedy (1983). On television she played Jamie Hamilton in the series Galactica 1980 (1980) and appeared in episodes of Trapper John, M.D. and Houston Knights. Her acting career spanned from 1978 to 1999.
She was married to attorney Rick Halprin from 2000 until their divorce; he died in 2013.
