Biography
Rock Burwell is an American film composer, music producer and singer-songwriter. Also credited as Zach Burwell, he previously worked as a platinum-selling producer across multiple genres.
Burwell composed the score for the supernatural horror film Obsession (2025), directed by Curry Barker. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025 and received a wide theatrical release in May 2026. It marked his debut as a feature film composer; the two met in Los Angeles in 2024 through a mutual music project and developed the electronic, atmospheric score in close collaboration.
