Biography
Roderick Young is a cinematographer. He served as one of the cinematographers on the 1996 documentary When We Were Kings, directed by Leon Gast.
His other cinematography credits include Wattstax (1973), As Above, So Below (1973), Passing Through (1977), Bush Mama (1979) and Soul Power (2008). He has also worked in camera and electrical departments on titles including Friday (1995) and appeared as a pianist in The Cat's Meow (2001).
