Biography
Roel A. García is a composer and musician who has worked primarily in Hong Kong cinema. He is credited as composer on Chungking Express (1994), Ashes of Time (1994) and Fallen Angels (1995), all directed by Wong Kar-wai, and frequently collaborated on the scores with Frankie Chan.
His other credits as composer or in the music department include Outlaw Brothers (1990), A Warrior's Tragedy (1993), Full Throttle (1995), Tragic Commitment (1995), How to Meet the Lucky Stars (1996) and Chinese Odyssey 2002 (2002). He is also credited as an orchestrator on Little Q (2019).
