Biography
Roger Christiansen was an American television director. Born Roger Secrist Christiansen on 2 October 1952 in New London, Connecticut, he worked as a director, associate director and technical coordinator on multiple sitcoms from the mid-1980s until 2025.
His directing credits include episodes of Friends (1994), Suddenly Susan (1996), Girlfriends (2000), Drake & Josh (2004), Zoey 101 (2005), Hannah Montana (2006), iCarly (2007), Cory in the House (2007), Shake It Up (2010), Austin & Ally (2011), Dog with a Blog (2012) and The Haunted Hathaways (2013). He also taught film at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, Columbia University Film Division and other institutions.
Christiansen died on 8 July 2025 in Waterford, Connecticut.
