Biography
Roger Eaton is a British cinematographer and former photographer. Born in Cambridge, he trained under photographers Lord Snowdon and Eve Arnold before moving to New York in the early 1980s. There he worked with Andy Warhol on Interview magazine and photographed for Vogue and The Face, as well as advertising campaigns.
Eaton later transitioned to moving image, shooting features, documentaries and television. His cinematography credits include The Killing of John Lennon (2006), which premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and received a Michael Powell Award nomination; Truck of Dreams (2006), winner of the World Cinema Award at the Washington DC Film Festival; and the documentary Dinosaur Hunters (2003), for which he received a Royal Television Society nomination for best cinematography.
