Biography
Roger Goula, also credited as Roger Goula Sarda, is a London-based composer and multi-instrumentalist. He trained as a classical guitarist in Barcelona, graduated in music composition from Goldsmiths College, London, and obtained an MA in film music from the National Film and Television School, where he studied with Michael Finnissy.
Goula has composed scores for feature documentaries including the BAFTA-nominated The Hard Stop (2016), the BIFA-winning Next Goal Wins (2014), Versus: The Life and Films of Ken Loach (2016) and All That Breathes (2022). His television work includes the ITV/Netflix series The Ripper and two seasons of The Frankenstein Chronicles. He was featured in the ASCAP Composers Spotlight at the Sundance Film Festival in 2018 and 2022. He is composing the score for Sense and Sensibility (2026).
