Biography
Roland Toutain (18 October 1905 – 16 October 1977) was a French actor and stuntman. He is best known for playing the aviator André Jurieux in Jean Renoir's The Rules of the Game (1939).
Toutain appeared in 55 films between 1924 and 1957. He first gained prominence in the title role of The Mystery of the Yellow Room (1930) and its sequel The Perfume of the Lady in Black (1931). Other credits include Liliom (1934). He was also a songwriter and hobby aviator.
Toutain was a friend of actor Jean Marais, who organised his funeral. He died in Argenteuil, France.
