Biography
Rolf Lassgård is a Swedish actor. He trained at the National Swedish School of Acting in Malmö from 1975 to 1978, after which he joined Skånska Teatern in Landskrona and later Folkteatern in Gävle.
He is known for roles including Ove in A Man Called Ove (2015), Erik Bäckström in The Hunters (1996) and its sequel, and Dr. Jorgen Asbjørnsen in Downsizing (2017). Lassgård has received six Guldbagge Award nominations for best actor and won twice, for Min store tjocke far (1992) and A Man Called Ove.
