Biography

Roman Osin is a British cinematographer. He was born in 1961 in Leipzig, then in East Germany, and is of German-Nigerian descent.

Osin studied film and photography at the London College of Printing from 1981 to 1985 and cinematography at the National Film and Television School from 1991 to 1995. He began his career directing music videos and dance films before working as a cinematographer on shorts and documentaries.

His feature credits include The Warrior (2001), Pride & Prejudice (2005), Neds (2010), The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016) and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2019). He has been a member of the British Society of Cinematographers since 2005.
