Biography
Ron Leshem is an Israeli-American screenwriter, producer and author. Born in Tel Aviv in 1976, he began his career in journalism before moving into television, where he co-created the original Israeli series Euphoria (2012) with Daphna Levin.
He wrote the screenplay for the film Beaufort (2007), adapted from his Sapir Prize-winning novel, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best International Feature Film. Leshem has created or written series including Valley of Tears (2020) and No Man's Land (2020), and served as an executive producer and writer on the HBO adaptation of Euphoria (2019).
